Today, April 3, 2022, a 7-day training seminar for 15 youth workers from Bulgaria, the Republic of North Macedonia and Hungary began, within the framework of the project “Social ecology – a model for sustainable European development in the 21st century”, No.2020-2-BG01-KA205-079309, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU. The project is implemented by the Bulgarian Memory Foundation – as coordinator, in partnership with EcoCenter Alapítvány, Hungary, and the Association for Macedonian-Bulgarian Friendship, Republic of North Macedonia.
Through a training event, based on the analysis made in the previous months and the report of the good practices in the EU, the project teams of the three partner organizations, using group work, interactive and discussion methods, will identify and adapt appropriate exercises/case studies for the purposes of the new socio-ecological methodology that is being developed within the project. In addition, they will generate innovative ideas for educational videos and practical exercises that will be included in the online platform with a digital toolkit (https://socialecology.eu/). The program also foresees discussions and meetings with inspiring interlocutors from the Ministry of Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria, Greenpeace, the Economic Policy Institute, and the University of National and World Economy, Sofia.
